Through 11 seasons at the helm of Baylor volleyball, head coach Ryan McGuyre has put the program among the sport's biggest names and into the national spotlight, while becoming the program's winningest head coach (2023). This past season, McGuyre continued to solidify his place among the nation's elite coaches, guiding Baylor to its 10th-straight NCAA Tournament appearance, a streak tied for the 11th-longest active run in the country and the second-best in the Big 12. Under his direction, the Bears extended their national ranking streak to 121 consecutive weeks, the eighth-longest active streak in Division I volleyball. Named the 2019 AVCA and VolleyballMag.com National Coach of the Year, 2019 AVCA Southwest Region Coach of the Year and 2017 and 2019 Big 12 Coach of the Year, McGuyre has coached 13 AVCA All-America selections, 19 All-Region honorees, 27 All-Big 12 awardees and 58 Academic All-Big 12 selections throughout his time at Baylor.

Jorge Peñate joined Baylor Volleyball in July of 2023 as an assistant coach. As Baylor's recruiting coordinator, he played a pivotal role in Baylor's continued rise during the 2025 season, both on the court and on the recruiting trail. As Baylor's recruiting coordinator, Peñate helped secure a top-10 national recruiting class in 2025, ranked No. 9 by PrepDig.com, continuing the program's momentum as one of the nation's premier destinations for elite talent. On the floor, he assisted in Baylor's 10th-straight NCAA Tournament appearance and helped extend the Bears' national ranking streak to 121 consecutive weeks, eighth-best in the country. Joshua Walker joined Ryan McGuyre's staff in the spring of 2022, officially being named assistant coach on March 10. He was promoted to Associate Head Coach in February of 2023. He played an integral role in Baylor's success during the 2025 season, helping guide the Bears to their 10th-straight NCAA Tournament appearance, a streak tied for the 11th-longest active run nationally and second-best in the Big 12. Walker was instrumental in helping BU up its national ranking streak that reached 121 consecutive weeks in the AVCA Top-25. He helped mentor one of the nation's top freshman classes, highlighted by Morgan Madison shattering Baylor's freshman digs record with 396 and Ksenia Rakhmanchik producing 367 kills, the second-most ever by a freshman in program history. Walker also assisted in coaching Rakhmanchik, Madison and Bailey Warren to All-Big 12 Rookie Team honors, as the trio combined for eight weekly Big 12 awards, the most in the conference.

Shelby Livingstone Anema serves Baylor Athletics as an Assistant Coach for the Volleyball program, returning to the team in 2024 where she was a volunteer assistant for three seasons, 2019-21. Anema was a driving force behind Baylor's development on and off the court in 2025, helping the Bears secure their 10th-straight NCAA Tournament appearance and extend their national ranking streak to 121 consecutive weeks. She played a key role in player development, contributing to the emergence of one of the Big 12's most impactful freshman classes. Under her guidance, Morgan Madison shattered Baylor's freshman digs record with 396, while Ksenia Rakhmanchik finished with 367 kills, the second-most by a freshman in program history, on her way to AVCA First Team All-Region honors. She also helped coach Madison, Rakhmanchik and Bailey Warren to All-Big 12 Rookie Team selections, as the trio combined for eight weekly Big 12 awards, underscoring Baylor's depth and developmental success.
