Tez Dumars comes to Waco after assistant coaching stops at Louisiana Tech, North Texas and West Texas A&M, but spent the 2024-25 season at Kansas State as a graduate assistant manager under long-time Baylor men's associate head coach Jermone Tang, mentoring two All-Big 12 selections. With Baylor, Dumars oversees the Dream Team male practice squad, the graduate managers and player skill development. The Texas native also shares in the recruiting and scouting efforts. At Louisiana Tech, the Lady Techsters produced five All-Conference USA selections, with Ann Larr Roberson landing first-team honors after her final season in Ruston before advancing to the semifinals of the Conference USA tournament.
