Biography
Tony Greene joined Baylor's women's basketball program as an assistant coach in June of 2021. He was promoted to associate head coach in July of 2023 and enters his fifth season with the program in 2025-26. Greene primarily works with the guards and the team's defensive strategies. He helped Sarah Andrews become a second-team All-Big 12 performer in her starting role after coming in sparingly off the bench the season prior and helped her elevate to a first-team selection in 2023. In addition to working with the guards, Greene served as the defensive coordinator for a Baylor team that led the conference in field-goal percentage defense in year one on staff and helped the Bears hold their opponents to just 29.8% from range in year two. The Bears' Bella Fontleroy got a Big 12 All-Defensive Team honor following the 2024-25 slate, paired with Darianna Littlepage-Buggs' WBCA All-America Honorable Mention season that averaged 13.8 points and 10.0 rebounds per game.
