Biography
Baylor Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Mack Rhoades announced the hiring of Michelle Lenard as the sixth head coach in Baylor soccer history on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021. In her second season with the Bears, Lenard more than doubled Baylor's win totals and goal totals from the previous season and got the Bears back to the Big 12 Championship after missing the tournament in 2022. Under her direction the Bears' offense produced 33 total goals on the season, with 33 assists. Ten players for BU played in all 19 games and Baylor is returning 19 of the 23 total Letterwinners from the 2023 squad. Five of baylor's nine wins came against conference opponents, as BU went 4-2-1 in its non-conference slate that included a 7-0 victory over Abilene Christian.
