Hallock became the 11th head coach in program history on July 24,2020. Over his first five seasons as the coach of the Falcons, BGSU posted a combined record of 124-136, being 88-80 in conference play. In 2024, Hallock led the Falcons to a MAC Regular Season title and was named MAC Coach of the Year. Hallock, who was hired by 30-year head coach Danny Schmitz in September of 2018, served as BGSU's pitching coach prior to his promotion. During his fifth season with the Falcons in 2025, Hallock and the Falcons put together another historic campaign. As a team, BGSU broke the program record for strikeouts in a season for the second straight year with 431 while also setting the record of innings pitched with 480.1 as well as fielding putouts with 1,441. The team also recorded an 11-game winning streak, tied for the third-longest in program history. Bowling Green tallied 33 wins over the course of the season

Ben Morse was named BGSU's director of strength and conditioning in April of 2022 after spending three years at Iowa. Morse oversees BGSU's strength and conditioning program. Between 2020-22 Morse worked with the Hawkeye football program where he was responsible for implementation of speed, agility, conditioning, power, strength and flexibility with the student-athletes. He previously was an intern with the Iowa football program in 2017. The Hawkeyes won 10 games in 2021, winning the Big Ten's West Division title and advancing to the conference championship game. Iowa concluded the season with an appearance in the Vrbo Citrus Bowl and was ranked 23rd in the nation in the final national rankings. Morse joined the Iowa program after serving as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Boston University for two years, where he worked with the men's basketball, men's soccer and swimming & diving programs. During his time at Boston University, the Terrier men's basketball team earned the 2020 Patriot League championship. Morse previously was part of the Terriers strength and conditioning staff as an intern and graduate assistant in 2016-17. Prior to his time in Division I athletics, Morse was a strength and conditioning coach and coordinator at Body Resolution in Williston, Vermont (2012-15). During his first season with the Falcons in 2025, Barchus and the Falcons put together another historic campaign. As a team, BGSU broke the program record for strikeouts in a season for the second straight year with 431 while also setting the record of innings pitched with 480.1 as well as fielding putouts with 1,441. The team also recorded an 11-game winning streak, tied for the third-longest in program history. Bowling Green tallied 33 wins over the course of the season, the first time with back-to-back 30-win seasons for the team since 2001-02. At the season conclusion, both Garrett Wright and Connar Penrod were named All-MAC First Team while Wright took home the MAC Defensive Player of the Year honor. In total, Wright broke three program records while Penrod broke one, being saves in a season with 12. With the Penguins, Barchus began as an assistant coach before being promoted to Associate Head Coach. In his role he worked with infielders, hitters and pitchers.
