Christina Esposito enters her second season as an assistant coach in 2025, with her primary responsibilities overseeing a dangerous Clemson offense and draw team. In her first campaign with the Tigers, Esposito helped lead Clemson to program records in points, goals, shots, shots on goal and man-up goals. In the first year under her direction, several players saw career numbers and breakout years. Sophomore Kayla MacLeod, even with missing four games due to injury, recorded career highs in goals (47) and points (57) and became Clemson’s career leader in goals. Lindsey Marshall notched the most goals (60) and points (73) in a single season in Clemson history. Brooke Goldstein, in her first year with the Tigers, became the program’s leader in assists (42). Natalie Shurtleff continued to grow as a two-way phenom with 57 points and the second-most assists on the team (21) in 2025. The draw circle also saw massive improvements under Esposito. Under her tutelage, primary draw taker Kira Balis exploded for a Clemson record 148 draw controls in her freshman season, including the top-two single-game Clemson draw control records with 20 and 18 against Queens and Stetson, respectively, and was ultimately rewarded with an All-ACC Third Team and an IWLCA Second-Team All-South Region accolades.
