Head Coach
One of the top young coaches in the country and a former two-time NCAA champion golfer at Augusta University, Mitch Krywulycz (pronounced CRY-vole-ITCH) enters his eighth year as Head Men’s Golf Coach at the College of Charleston in 2025-2026. A three time CAA Coach of the Year, Krywulycz led the Cougars to league titles in 2021, 2022. and 2024. Since arriving at CofC, he's taken the Cougars to multiple NCAA Regionals and a berth in the NCAA National Championship for the first time since 2001 in 2022. In 2025, he led the Cougars to back-to-back NCAA Regional appearances for the first time since 2021 and 2022. It was program's first-ever at-large appearance in the NCAA Regionals and the program's tenth overall appearance in a regional. He coached one of the greatest student-athletes to ever come through Charleston in Kieron van Wyk, who made history as the only student athlete to secure three CAA Golfer of the Year awards. He was the first active Cougar to participate on the PGA Tour. Following the program's seventh CAA title in 2024, Krywulycz was named CAA Coach of the Year while coaching CAA individual co-champions Kieron van Wyk and Zach Reuland. It was both golfers' second indivudal titles under Krywulycz with van Wyk last winning in 2022 and Reuland in 2021. Krywulycz has guided back-to-back CAA Golfers of the Year and individual CAA Champions in Zach Reuland and Kieron van Wyk. Lynn Walsh
Lynn Walsh enters her fourth year as the Director of Athletics Communications and Creative Content at the College of Charleston. In her role, Walsh heads the athletics communications office while serving as the primary contact for the Cougars' men's basketball, men's golf, women's golf and beach volleyball programs. She was named to the inaugural College Sports Communicators 30 Under 30 class in November 2022. Walsh helped triple the Cougars social media metrics during her first two years in Charleston. In 2022, the Cougars ranked 98th in total social interactions, 74th in interaction rate, 87th in total views and experienced the third-best growth rate in DI men's basketball following her hiring. She coordinated the Cougars' media efforts for the Cougars 2023 and 2024 March Madness teams, and has successfully gained national coverage for the men's basketball program through features with ESPN, CBS Sports, USA Today, Bleacher Report, Barstool Sports, and Fresh Features, among others. She successfully launched "On the Prowl with Charleston Athletics" in 2026, the official podcast of Charleston athletics as well as lead a complete website redesign of cofcsports.com with SIDEARM Sports in 2025. Walsh comes to Charleston by way of Bridgewater College. She joined the Eagles' athletic department in 2018 as part of an NCAA Ethnic Minorities and Women's Internship Grant before being promoted to Associate Director of Athletic Media Relations in July 2021 and assuming the title of Direc

Mike Martino
Mike Martino is entering his third full year as an Assistant Sports Performance Coach at The College of Charleston working with softball, men's golf, women's Golf, beach volleyball, sailing, and equestrian. Prior to College of Charleston, Martino made coaching stops at Charleston Southern, Adelphi University, Siena College, and Penn State University. Outside of CofC Athletics, Martino trained Court Tennis World Champion Camden Riviere for his 2025 championship title run. He is also an active member of the CrossFit community, coaching 2 teams and several individuals to the CrossFit Games over the last decade. In 2018 he took part in a 2-year case study with Titleist Performance Institute on the effect of differing training modalities on golf performance and longevity. A former baseball player, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from SUNY Cortland and his master's in physical education from Brooklyn College.
