Head Coach
Steve Fabiilli recently completed his 11th season with the Falcons in 2024-25. Fabiilli, who led the Falcons to the NCHA Slaats Cup Title Game in his first season, has guided CUW to double-digit win totals in nine of his 11 seasons and has led CUW to the Slaats Cup Playoffs in each of the past seven seasons. In 2025, the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons reached new heights under the leadership of Fabiilli, setting multiple program records. The team achieved a program-best 20 wins, finishing the season with a 20-7-1 record. Fabiilli joined the Falcons after spending nine seasons as the Men's Hockey head coach at Northland College in Ashland, Wis. Northland is a member of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association, the same league the Falcons compete in. During his tenure with the LumberJacks, Fabiilli coached five all-conference players, 56 all-academic team members, four all-freshman selections and one USCHO All-West Rookie Honorable Mention player. Prior to his time at Northland, Fabiilli spent one season as an assistant coach/co-head coach at his alma mater, Canisius College. Fabiilli played four seasons for Canisius and was named the school's Male Athlete of the Year during the 2001 season. He was the goaltender for the Golden Griffins and ranks in the top 10 in school history in wins, goals-against average, save percentage, saves, and shutouts. He graduated from Canisius in 2001 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in physical education and earned a Master's of Sport

Athletic Trainer
A familiar face within the CUW community, Nelson spent the previous five years in the university's dual-degree athletic training program. During his time as a student, he gained hands-on experience working with a wide range of Falcon athletic programs, including men's basketball, football, softball, wrestling, and both hockey teams. In his fifth year, Nelson was promoted to the head student athletic trainer role, taking on additional leadership responsibilities and working closely with the football program. Nelson excelled academically, earning Dean's List honors every year and receiving the prestigious Ken Weidt Athletic Training Scholarship for academic excellence. His senior capstone focused on the correlation between hip range of motion and ACL injuries, and included surgical observations of ACL reconstructions and meniscectomies in 2022. Beyond CUW, Nelson also gained experience with Saint Augustine Preparatory Academy and the Milwaukee Wave of the Major Arena Soccer League. From 2019 to 2021, Nelson was a member of the CUW men's lacrosse team, serving as a starting defenseman. In 2021, he started 10 games and totaled 20 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers. He is certified in Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association, holds an Emergency Medical Technician-B license, and is Board of Certification certified through the National Athletic Trainers' Association. Goalie Coach
Eric Everson was added to the Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Hockey staff prior to the 2016-17 season. Everson, a former goaltender with the CUW Men's Hockey program, will work with the goalies for the Falcons. Everson played for the Falcons during the 2008-09 season. He holds the program record for most saves in a season, making 915. He averaged 41.59 saves per game. Following his playing career, Everson helped coach the CUW goalies from 2009-2012. In addition he was an assistant coach with both Homestead High School and the Milwaukee Phoenix AAA from 2010-2012. In addition he has spent the past several years coaching various youth teams throughout Ozaukee County. Everson graduated from CUW in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Rehabilitation Science. He then went on to complete his Master's Degree at CUW in Occupational Therapy in 2012.
Assistant Coach
Hannah Nelson completed her first season as an assistant coach for both the Concordia University Wisconsin women's hockey and women's lacrosse programs during the 2024-25 academic year. Nelson joined CUW after spending two seasons as an assistant coach with the women's hockey program at Buffalo State. Prior to her coaching career, she was a two-sport student-athlete at Trine University from 2017 to 2022, competing in both ice hockey and lacrosse. A member of Trine's inaugural women's ice hockey team, Nelson made history by scoring the program's first-ever goal—the first goal by a collegiate women's ice hockey player from the state of Indiana. She graduated in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education and minors in Coaching, Exercise Science, and Sport Psychology. She went on to earn a master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Trine in 2023. Nelson's achievements extended beyond the rink and field. She was a three-time American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) Krampade All-American Scholar and a three-time member of the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll. A native of Libertyville, Illinois, Nelson has also contributed to the sport at the national level. She served on the coaching staff for the USA Hockey U15 National Development Camp from 2019 to 2020 and worked at the USA Hockey National Camp in 2019, 2020, and 2022. Assistant Coach
Rebecka Boehlke is in her first season with the CUW hockey program in the 2024-25 season. Boehlke graduated from St. Norbert in 2019 with a business and economics degree. She played 101 games for the Green Knights and had 10 goals and 14 assists, and was a two-time captain. Prior to St. Norbert, she played for Djurgardens IF in the Swedish Division I League.
