Grace Reeder

Biography

Grace Reeder joined the Davidson swimming and diving coaching staff as an assistant coach in June, 2024. Reeder came to Davidson after a successful career as a swimmer and triathlete at the University of Arizona. She also spent the 2022-23 season as the head swimming coach at Sabino High School in Tucson. While Reeder competed collegiately in the southwestern U.S., her move to Davidson marks a return to her home state. Reeder grew up in Asheville and starred at T.C. Roberson High, where, among many honors, she was a 200 IM state champion. A three-year college swimmer, Reeder began her college career at Iowa, where she was a 400 IM finalist at the 2020 Big Ten Championships. At Arizona, she was a Pac-12 Championships finalist in the 400 IM, 200 IM and 200 butterfly before transitioning into triathlon competition for the 2023-24 season. As a triathlete, she qualified for NCAA nationals and also secured her professional triathlon racing license by finishing third at the NTDR Missouri.
