Smith will assist both the Seminoles men’s and women’s programs. Smith enjoyed an outstanding career from 2017-21 in College Station, Texas, leading the Aggies to pair of fifth place finishes at the NCAA Championships in 2018 and 2019. As a sophomore in 2018, he earned All-America honorable mention and All-Central Region honors. Smith recorded six individual top 10 finishes and was the runner-up at the Bryan Regional Championship. He earned his first career win at the 2019 Pioneer Creek Collegiate with a 10 under par, 206 behind scores of 71-68-67. He shot a career-low 63 in the second round of the 2021 Legends Classic – a score that established the school record during his playing career – and which now ranks as the third lowest in program history.
