Brad Bustle takes on a new role on the Hampton coaching staff in 2026. After assisting with recruiting and coaching the Pirates offensive line in the past, Bustle will concentrate on recruiting and developing relationships with prep coaches. He will serve as recruiting coordinator on new Head Coach Van Malone's staff. He joined the Hampton coaching staff in 2023 and served as run game coordinator and offensive line coach for the Pirates. He played a major role in helping mold the Pirate offense into one of the top units in the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA). With a strong offensive line led by second-team All-CAA Tyler McDuffie, Hampton was second in the conference in rushing in 2024 averaging 195.8 yards per game. The Pirates averaged 29.6 points per game, a 6.3 increase from 2023. He came to Hampton after spending two years as an assistant at Louisiana for head coach Michael Desormeaux. Bustle served as a senior offensive analyst for the Ragin' Cajuns. He joined the Louisiana staff after spending time on the coaching staff at Valparaiso where he coached the team's offensive line. He joined the Valparaiso staff in 2020 after serving as the co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Holmes Community College, a post he had held since 2018. Bustle coached the offense line at Cumberland from 2013-18 and was also charged with coaching the team's running backs and tight ends from 2015-18. Nescotia "Scotti" Harrison serves as the director of football operations at Hampton, bringing a dynamic blend of leadership, operational expertise, and student-centered advocacy to the Pirates football program. A proven trailblazer in collegiate athletics, Harrison has made history as the first Black woman to serve as director of football operations at Wingate and Albany State. A former dual scholar-athlete at Allen, Harrison competed on scholarship in volleyball and track and field while also supporting football operations during her undergraduate career. Her athletic accolades began in high school, where she earned Most Valuable Player honors in volleyball, was a four-time Region champion in track and field and qualified for state championships. She was also named the Aiken Standard Girls' Track and Field Athlete of the Year. Harrison was deeply involved in campus leadership, serving as the chartered president of the Sports Management Society and representing her institution as the 89th Miss Allen University. For four years, she served as an HBCU ambassador, and during her senior year was featured on a billboard in downtown Columbia in recognition of her impact. Professionally, Harrison's career spans player engagement, football operations, and NFL Pro Liaison roles, with experience at Wingate University and across major football platforms including the Los Angeles Rams, College Football Playoff National Championship, and the Las Vegas Bowl.
