Associate Head Coach
After being hired by head coach Aaron Rodgers in February of 2019, Cortney Wiesler has helped push Ohio Soccer to one of the best programs in the Mid-American Conference. During Wiesler's time in Athens, Ohio has a 44-36-10 record while helping numerous players receive All-MAC, All-District, and All-Region honors. In 2023, Wiesler helped the Bobcats secure their first MAC Tournament Championship with a 2-1 win over Kent State. The win provided Ohio with their first NCAA Tournament appearance. Prior to Ohio, Wiesler spent the 2018 season with the University of Incarnate Word as an assistant coach. She joined the UIW staff from Murray State College in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, where she started the first women's soccer program in the school's history in 2015. In 2017 the Aggies had a breakout season, going 10-7-1 on the year. The Aggies made an appearance in the semifinals of the Region V tournament, ultimately falling to 2017 national champions, Brookhaven College. Wiesler designed and built one of the nicest junior college soccer fields in the state of Oklahoma. After spending several years at the Division I level, she took that same atmosphere to the junior college pitch. Wiesler also raised $27,000 for the women's soccer program during her tenure at Murray State College. Prior to Murray State College, Wiesler served as the assistant women's soccer coach at Creighton University in 2014. Wiesler helped lead the team to the best start in program history. Luci Brasil joined Ohio Athletics in August 2023 as an Assistant Women's Soccer Coach. Brasil played soccer at Central Methodist University where she earned her Bachelor's in Sports Management and her Master of Education in Athletic Administration. On the field, Brasil earned Honorable Mention NAIA All-American accolades (2017, 2018), First-Team All-Central Region (2017), Heart Defensive Player of the Year (2017), First Team All-Conference (2017, 2018), and was a scholar-athlete (2018). Prior to Ohio, Brasil gained experience in many roles at her alma mater, including Athletic Department Intern, Ticket Manager, Sports Information Graduate Assistant, and Women's Soccer Graduate Assistant. Also serving as the Assistant Director, Ticket Sales at Tulane University for a year.
