Rod Johnson

Biography

Rod Johnson joined the Oklahoma State football staff in May of 2012 after spending the previous six years working in the OSU compliance and academics offices. He took over as the Direcotr of Football Operations in 2021 and then as the Director of Player Engagement / Alumni Relations in 2026. Johnson was a defensive back at North Carolina State from 1998-2002. He interned in the N.C. State compliance office during the 2003-04 school year before accepting a full-time job as assistant director of compliance in August of 2004. He held that post until coming to OSU in January of 2006. A native of La Marque, Texas, Johnson and his wife, Shanna, have two sons, Skyy and Zayden and a daughter, Quincie.
