The Tigers defeated a pair of nationally ranked opponents (No. 8 Arizona & No. 23 Missouri), became the 11th No. 15 seed to beat a No. 2 seed after taking down Arizona 58-55 in the Round of 64, and earned the largest ever margin of victory for a No. 15 seed thanks to a 78-63 victory over Mizzou in the Round of 32. WINNER The Tigers won three-straight Ivy titles under Henderson from 2022-24, including two outright, and four in the past nine years. Princeton has become a mainstay in the postseason throughout Henderson’s tenure, making two NCAA Tournament and three NIT appearances. The 2022-23 season saw Henderson earn his 200th career win and become just the eighth men’s basketball coach to record 100 Ivy League victories. Amrit Vignesh is a sophomore majoring in Operations Research & Financial Engineering hailing from Sanford, Florida. This is his second year being involved with Princeton men's basketball as a student manager with responsibilities including operations and on-court analytics. He is interested in pursuing a career in data science with a special interest in sports and prediction markets. He most recently completed a hockey analytics internship with the Pittsburgh Penguins and has also immersed in the field through other internships and projects. Outside of Princeton men's basketball, he is involved in many cultural groups on campus including Princeton Bhangra, Princeton Swara, and Princeton Hindu Satsangam

Strength Coach
James DeVincenzi joined the Princeton Strength and Conditioning Staff in September of 2009. Since joining the staff, he has handled multiple sports and is now primarily responsible for the men’s basketball, wrestling, baseball, men’s and women’s diving, and men’s and women’s water polo programs. During his tenure at Princeton, Coach DeVincenzi has coached multiple All-Ivy and All-American selections, professional players, and Olympic Medalists and continues to dedicate his career to optimizing performance at every level of competition. DeVincenzi oversees the Princeton Varsity Club Weight Room as well as the Internship Development Program for the Strength and Conditioning Staff. Prior to coming to Princeton, DeVincenzi completed his Master’s Degree in Exercise Science while serving as a graduate assistant at East Stroudsburg University. He received his B.A. in Health Sciences from Gettysburg College, where he played football. DeVincenzi is a certified member of The Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association, as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. DeVincenzi currently resides in Robbinsville, N.J. with his wife Crystal and has two children, Madelyn and Brendan.

Princeton received votes in the USA Today Coaches Poll for 13 weeks and the Associated Press (AP) Poll for nine weeks during Gore’s first season. WINNER During his time at Valparaiso, where he coached from 2003-2023, Gore helped guide the program to 387 victories including a school record 30 wins in 2016. He led them to three NCAA Tournament appearances and four NIT appearances along with seven conference championships and three conference tournament titles. Starting as Defensive Coordinator in 2011, the Beacons had the top defensive efficiency in the conference four times and All-Conference defensive selections on three occasions. He coached the NCAA Defensive Player of the Year in 2016 and in the 2013-14 season Valpo was the only team in the country with two players with 50 blocks.
