Brennan previously served as an assistant coach with the Tigers from 2000-07 under John Thompson III, where he was part of a staff that lead Princeton to three Ivy titles and a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances. As a player, Brennan helped guide the Tigers to two NCAA Tournament appearances and was named Second Team All-Ivy in 1994. HEAD COACHING EXPERIENCE Brennan served as Head Coach at American University from 2013-23, and his 95 Patriot League victories rank second all-time in program history and his 125 total victories rank third. Brennan was honored as the Patriot League Coach of the Year in 2014 and was a finalist for the Joe. B Hall and Hugh Durham Coach of the Year awards.
