Keith Reiter

Biography

Keith Reiter will oversee the men’s and women’s Pole Vault, High Jump & Combined Event athletes in his second year with Stephen F. Austin State University. In Reiter's first year with the Lumberjacks, he had some success at the Conference and Regional levels. The indoor season included some great performances and podium finishes at the WAC Championships for SFA in the Women's Pentathlon, Women's Pole Vault, Men's Long Jump and was capped off with a Conference Champion in the Men's High Jump for Hunter Murphy. Outdoor season brought some more success with podium finishes at the WAC Championships in the Men's & Women's Long Jump, Men's 110 hurdles, Women's Triple Jump, Men's High Jump, and another Conference Champion in Women's Pole Vault for Kira Van Den Ham. Reiter also had a few athletes qualify for the NCAA Regional Meet in Men's High Jump and Men's Long Jump. PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS Reiter was honored as the NCAA DIII Regional Assistant Coach of the Year in 2015 and has previously coached at Division II – Tiffin University, Division III – University of Mount Union, Division I – University of Cincinnati, and Division I - McNeese State University. With Tiffin University, Reiter was named the Associate Head Track & Field coach in his last year with the Dragons, 2022-23. He spent 9 years as the Vertical Jumps & Multi Events Coach for both the men & women including some seasons as the javelin and horizontal jumps coach.
