Head Coach
Charles Papendick was named the head men's golf coach in 2017 and is in his ninth year at the helm in 2025-26. Papendick became the program's all-time leader in tournament victories just four years into his tenure on Castle Point. Papendick led the Ducks to their fifth straight MAC Freedom championship and NCAA Tournament appearance in the 2024-25 season while earning conference Coach of the Year honors for the fifth straight season in the process. The team finished in 35th place at the NCAA Tournament, a fifth straight Top 40 finish. In the 2020-21 season, Papendick was named the MAC Coach of the Year after leading Stevens to the Middle Atlantic Conference Championship and an NCAA Championship appearance for the first time in program history. Additionally, Papendick led the Ducks to back-to-back third place finishes in the Empire 8 Championships in his first two seasons. A successful pitcher at Division I Fairleigh Dickinson University, Papendick achieved his Bachelor's degree in communications and advertising from Fairleigh Dickinson in 1985 and coached baseball at his alma mater Don Bosco Prep for three seasons.
