Associate Head Coach
Brian Dunleavy, a former assistant coach at Michigan and Mississippi State, was named associate head coach with the Syracuse women’s soccer program in February 2026. Dunleavy comes to Syracuse after two seasons as the associate head coach at Michigan. With the Wolverines, Dunleavy assisted with training design, tactical implementation and student-athlete development. He led recruiting initiatives and prospect evaluation at the national and international levels. A member of Coach Jennifer Klein’s staff, Dunleavy helped coach Michigan against a schedule that featured five Top 20 teams each season. The Wolverines improved three spots in the Big Ten Conference standings over the past two campaigns. Dunleavy earned a bachelor’s degree from Hofstra. He was a four-year player with the Pride soccer team and joined the men’s staff as an assistant coach in 2003. Dunleavy helped the program to back-to-back Colonial Athletic Association Championships, which secured NCAA Tournament berths in 2004 and 2005. After one year as men’s coach at Division III College of Mount Saint Vincent (N.Y.), Dunleavy was hired as an assistant men’s coach at Saint Leo (Fla.), where he served for two seasons at the Division II level. Georgia Southern tabbed Dunleavy for its women’s staff in 2013 and, after two years as an assistant, he was named the program’s head coach. He directed the Eagles for six campaigns. Assistant AD/Strength and Conditioning
Assistant Athletics Director for Olympic Sport Strength and Conditioning Corey Parker is responsible for overseeing the development of more than 400 Olympic Sport student-athletes who represent the Orange. In addition to his supervisory role, Parker handles the strength and conditioning programs for men's soccer and rowing, field hockey, ice hockey, soccer, and volleyball. Parker came to Syracuse in 1995 as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. After serving in that post for five years, he was promoted to associate head strength and conditioning coach for varsity sports. In 2002, Parker left Syracuse Athletics to become director of strength and conditioning at Strength in Motion in Syracuse. While there, he designed and implemented individualized programs for clients ranging from grade-school age to college athletes. He returned to Syracuse University Athletics in 2012 as an assistant strength and conditioning coach and was promoted to his current role in August 2016. A native of Haverhill, Mass., Parker began his career in health and fitness working in corporate fitness as an exercise physiologist for Fit-Corp in Boston prior to coming to Syracuse in 1995. Parker earned first-team football All-Eastern Coast Athletic Conference honors and was a three-year starter for Maine. He was selected as the Black Bears Defensive Lineman of the Year in 1991 and 1992. After earning his bachelor's degree in health and fitness from Maine in 1992, he went on to earn his master's degr
