Head Coach
With over 25 combined years as both an NCAA Division I collegiate golf coach, NCAA Division I athletics administrator and standout collegiate golfer, Amy Weeks begins her 12th year as head coach of Columbia’s women’s golf program in 2025-26. The former Oklahoma State Head Women’s Golf Coach and Associate Athletic Director/Senior Woman Administrator, Weeks joined the Columbia women's golf program as a volunteer assistant coach in October of 2011 and was later named Head Women’s Golf Coach in August 2014. Weeks saw three first-years turn the Lions into an Ivy League contender in 2025-26. Rookies, Christine Chang, Sarah Shao and Emily Luo were in the starting lineup all season long and ranked No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 among teammates in stroke average. Chang posted a stroke average of 74.32, setting a new Columbia record, which previously belonged to Jacqueline Chulya (2016-17). Shao's stroke average was also a top 10 mark, ranking sixth all-time at 75.45. The 2025-26 season saw Columbia post three straight Top 5 team finishes to close out the spring. Among them, Columbia finished fifth out of 12 teams at the first More Than Golf Invitational, co-hosted by Columbia and the ANNIKA Foundation at Old Barnwell. The new tournament was designed to provide an exceptional, high-quality golf experience and the opportunity for participants to advance their careers.
