Kirk Saarloos
Kirk Saarloos

Head Coach

HC

On June 15, 2021, Kirk Saarloos was named the 20th head coach in program history. Saarloos joined the coaching staff in the summer of 2012 after two seasons as the pitching coach at Cal State Fullerton. In his time at TCU, the Horned Frogs have totaled seven conference regular season and tournament championships, double the total of the next-closest schools, as well as five College World Series appearances. Hired initially as pitching coach in summer 2012, he was promoted to recruiting coordinator the following year. In just four years as the head coach, TCU has won a Big 12 regular season crown as well as a tournament title, made three NCAA appearances and advanced to the 2023 College World Series. Saarloos’ presence at TCU has been felt both on the field and off the field. As the recruiting coordinator for nine seasons, Saarloos mentored one of the nation’s top pitching staffs which was a key factor in TCU’s four straight trips to the College World Series from 2014-17. He made a similar impact in his first season as the head coach, guiding the Horned Frogs to a Big 12 Regular Season championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. His efforts on the field earned him Big 12 Coach of the Year accolades, making him the first coach in Big 12 history to claim the award in his first season as the head coach. In just his second year at the helm, he brought home a Big 12 tournament title and guided the program back to Omaha and the College World Series. In 2024, the Frogs raced out

Associate Head Coach

Bill Mosiello returned to the coaching staff in the summer of 2024. Back in a familiar role as the associate head coach, he will once again lead the offense. He returned to the program after serving two seasons as the head coach at Ohio State. Mosiello was named the head coach at Ohio State baseball in June of 2022. He led the Buckeyes to a 60-51 overall record and a 21-27 Big Ten record in his two seasons in Columbus. Mosiello’s tenure was highlighted by a trip to the Big Ten Tournament in 2024. It was Ohio State’s first appearance in the conference tournament since 2019. In his first stint with the Horned Frogs, Mosiello occupied his same role from 2014-22. TCU made four consecutive appearances in the College World Series (2014-17), advanced to seven NCAA Tournaments, won four Big 12 regular season titles and three Big 12 tournament crowns. TCU put together a 355-165 (.683) record in his time on campus. His return saw the Frogs returne to the postseason after a one-year hiatus. Upon his arrival on campus, Mosiello helped guide the team to four straight appearances in the College World Series (2014-17) and seven NCAA Tournaments. One of the most respected offensive minds in the game, the Frogs flourished under Mosiello’s guidance. The Horned Frogs led the Big 12 in batting average in two of his nine seasons. Additionally, TCU became one of the top base-running teams. Four times the Frogs have surpassed the 100-stolen base mark. They ranked in top 50 nationally in runs per ga
