Co-Offensive Coordinator / Offensive Line
A.J. Ricker arrived at TCU in December 2021 as co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach. Over his first two seasons with the Horned Frogs, Ricker has seen five of his players sign NFL contracts. Steve Avila was a second-round draft pick of the Los Angeles Rams in 2023 with Brandon Coleman a third-round selection of the Washington Commanders in 2024. Additionally, Alan Ali (Minnesota Vikings), Andrew Coker (Las Vegas Raiders) and Willis Patrick (Los Angeles Chargers) inked free-agent contracts. All five earned All-Big 12 honors with Avila a Consensus All-American. Ricker has been instrumental in TCU ranking among the national leaders in all major offensive categories in each of the last two seasons, including the 2022 campaign en route to an appearance in the College Football Playoff National Championship. Before TCU, Ricker served the previous two seasons in the same roles under Head Coach Sonny Dykes at SMU. A Broyles Award nominee, Ricker coached SMU offensive linemen Jaylon Thomas and Hayden Howerton to all-conference honors. In his first season with the Mustangs, Ricker helped lead them to top-10 national rankings in scoring offense (41.8) and total offense (489.8). SMU was 13th in passing offense (309.0). Its highest ranking in those categories the previous season was 27th in passing offense while scoring and total offense didn't make the top 50. The Mustangs also ranked 14th in the FBS in fewest sacks allowed per game (1.31), surrendering just 17 on the season.

Assistant Running Backs Coach
One of the all-time great running backs in TCU history, Aaron Green serves as the program's Assistant Running Backs Coach, a post he assumed in January 2026. Prior to his move to the coaching staff, Green returned to TCU as an Assistant Director of Player Personnel where he helped build the recruiting classes and evaluate the roster. Green, whose 1,272 rushing yards in 2015 were the seventh-most in a single season in program history at the time, rushed for 2,426 yards and 20 touchdowns during his playing career that encompassed 38 appearances for the Horned Frogs (2013-15). A two-time All-Big 12 honoree, Green spent time in the NFL with the Los Angeles Rams, Dallas Cowboys, and Buffalo Bills. After he concluded his playing days, Green began his coaching career as an offensive analyst at UTSA in his hometown of San Antonio.

In Storrs, Wilcox helped develop running back Cam Edwards in a 1,000-yard performer this season, the first Husky to do so since 2019. Edwards rushed for 1,240 yards on 210 carries with 15 touchdowns, all marks that rank in the top-20 nationally. Among players with 200-plus carries, Edwards’ 5.9 yards per carry average ranked No. 6 nationally. Wilcox was also named to the 247Sports 30under30 list ahead of the 2025 season. In 2024, Wilcox coached a three-headed monster of a backfield when Edwards, Durell Robinson, and Mel Brown all ran for at least 670 yards and 5.7 yards per carry. Prior to UConn, Wilcox spent two seasons at his alma mater, Furman (2021-22). Together, Robbins and Sammis scored 32.3 points per game in 2024, the highest scoring offense in 21 seasons at UConn to that point. They also helped led UConn to a 9-4 record, the program’s best in 14 years. At Tulsa, under first-year head coach Tre Lamb, Robbins’ offense led running back Dominic Richardson to the Golden Hurricane’s first 1,000-yard rusher since 2021. Richardson posted 1,065 yards on 212 carries (5.0 ypc) with a 203-yard game against Army. Prior to UConn, Robbins spent the 2023 season at Tennessee Tech as the pass game coordinator and wide receivers coach and the three seasons before that (2019-22) at North Greenville as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. At North Greenville, Quarterback Dylan Ramirez set school records for passing yards (2,570), total yards (2,800), and touchdowns accounted for (28) as a freshman.
