Biography

Mitch Kirsch arrived at TCU in December 2021. Originally a senior offensive analyst, Kirsch was promoted by Head Coach Sonny Dykes to assistant coach with the tight ends in 2024. Before TCU, Kirsch was an offensive graduate assistant under Dykes at SMU. Kirsch was a consensus FCS All-America offensive lineman at James Madison, helping lead the Dukes to a 2016 National Championship. He was the Virginia Collegiate Athlete of the Year in 2017, before signing a free-agent contract with the Chicago Bears. A 2016 JMU graduate, Kirsch began his coaching career as an offensive assistant at St. John’s High School in Washington D.C.
