Spencer Whisler

Biography

Spenser Whisler joined The College of Wooster football team's staff in a part-time role in 2025, assisting with the offensive line. Prior to joining the collegiate ranks, Whisler was an assistant coach at Wooster High School for three seasons, holding defensive coordinator and run game coordinator duties where he created specific defensive systems and implemented run schemes. After graduating from Bluffton University, Whisler joined the staff at Northmor High School, where he served as special teams coordinator and defensive passing game coordinator for six years, developing special teams game plans and participating in play calling. He was a student assistant while in college at Bluffton. Professionally, Whisler is an intervention specialist within the Wooster City School District.
