Scott Cameron

Biography

Scott Cameron enters his fifth season as assistant coach at Air Force in the 2025-26 season. Having arrived in the summer of 2021, Cameron comes to the Academy after spending two seasons with the Des Moines Swim Federation. Last season, Cameron helped lead Air Force to an overall record of 15-4 and a Mountain West record of 3-3. In November of 2024, the Falcons placed third at the Phil Hansel Invitational where Naomi Furman set a school record in the 100 Breaststroke (1:02.05) and the 400 free relay team claimed the Academy's top spot (3:21.69). At the Mountain West Conference Championships, Cameron saw Katie Andrist honored on the MW All-Conference Team following her eighth place 1650 freestyle. On the academic side, Air Force women's swimming and diving was named a CSCAA Scholar All-American Team, saw a trio of Falcons named to the CSC Academic All-District Team, along with nine on the Mountain West Scholar-Athlete team During the 2023-24 season, Cameron helped guide Falcons to two Mountain West All-Conference honors and school records in two events. The season was highlighted by an impressive victory at the Liberty Invitational in Lynchburg, Virginia, in November following a score of 2540.00 to win the seven-team meet. Following the 2022-23 season, Cameron's tutelage helped the Falcons earn five All-Mountain West selections following the Conference Championships, including Katie Andrist, Corbyn Cormack, Hanani Dona, Kai-Min Tsuei, and Abby Turner. Andrist, racing in the 50
