Neal Grusczynski

Biography

Neal Grusczynski was promoted to Associate Head Men's Golf Coach at the United States Military Academy at West Point in September 2025, where he plays a key leadership role in all aspects of the Division I program, including recruiting, player development, operations, and alumni engagement. Since joining the Army West Point staff in 2021, Grusczynski has helped elevate the program's competitiveness and culture, highlighted by multiple victories over Navy and contributions to Commander-in-Chief's Cup success. He has been instrumental in developing cadet-athletes both on and off the course, emphasizing leadership, accountability, and performance in alignment with the values of the United States Army. Grusczynski is actively involved in the national recruiting landscape, identifying and mentoring high-level junior golfers from across the country. His player development approach integrates technical instruction, course management, and mental performance, while also prioritizing the overall well-being of each cadet-athlete. This is his second stint with the golf program with his previous time being the 2015-'16 season. While the Director of Golf at Cardinal Stritch University, both the men and women's golf programs enjoyed success under coach Grusczynski's leadership. The men's golf program won the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Championships in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.
