Amber Raisner

Biography

Amber Raisner enters her second season as an assistant coach/recruiting coordinator for Army in 2026-27. A Connecticut native, Raisner arrived at West Point following an impactful three-year stint as an assistant coach at Yale, where she helped develop one of the Ivy League's most competitive programs. She brings a strong background in guard development, defensive excellence, and academic achievement. In March 2025, Raisner was recognized nationally as a WBCA Thirty Under 30 honoree—a prestigious award that celebrates 30 of the most promising young coaches in women's basketball. During her time at Yale, Raisner was instrumental in the Bulldogs' strong performances in multiple statistical categories. Before Yale, Raisner starred at Union College, where she was a two-time leading scorer and helped her team reach the Liberty League semifinals as a senior. She earned All-Liberty League honors while averaging 11.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game. Off the court, Raisner distinguished herself as a dedicated student-athlete, earning a B.S. in neuroscience, Union's Scholar-Athlete of the Year award (twice), and the Award for Academic Excellence. A native of West Hartford, Conn., Raisner was a standout at Hall High School, where she was a four-time All-Central Connecticut Conference selection and a CHSCA Scholar-Athlete.
