Noto Family Head Women's Lacrosse Coach
Michelle Tumolo recently completed her fourth season at West Point after being named Noto Family Head Women's Lacrosse Coach in June of 2021. The 2025 season saw the program reach new heights, earning another at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament with an 8-1 record in Patriot League play and 13-2 mark in the regular season. Army defeated its first-ever opponent ranked in the top five in the IWLCA poll with its 12-9 victory over No. 4 Stanford. The season also saw the program's first-ever First Team All-American with midfielder Brigid Duffy. Tumolo led Army on an unprecedented run to the NCAA Tournament in her second season at the helm of the Black Knights, earning an at-large bid to the tournament. Tumolo was named Patriot League Coach of the Year following the season, as Army reached the Patriot League Championship game for the first time in program history behind a program-record 15 victories. Prior to Army, Tumolo boasted an impressive resume both as a coach and a player. Under her guidance, Wagner became one of the top teams in the Northeast Conference (NEC), making the conference championship game in 2021 after winning the NEC title in 2019. Prior to Wagner, the former All-American made stops at Oregon, Florida and Syracuse as an assistant coach. As a player, Tumolo was one of the most dangerous attackers in Syracuse history, ranking third on the school's all-time points list with 278. Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach
Jordan Dean, a Greenbank, Ont., native, comes to the banks of the Hudson after a stellar career at UMass. While at UMass, she set a new NCAA Division I single season record for draw controls and was a three-time US Lacrosse All-American selection. She finished her collegiate career with 645 draw controls, the most in UMass history and was a two-time captain. Internationally, Dean has represented Team Canada in multiple competitions. Recently, she has competed in the World Lacrosse Sixes Championships in Chengdu, China. The Canadian defenseman has earned two silver medals in international competition and was named to the All-World Team at the 2024 Box World Championships. At the 2019 U19 World Cup, she was the youngest member of the Silver winning team at 16 years old. Off the field, Dean was a member of the Student Athlete Council Committee (SACC) and was a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Society. She also was awarded the Colin Hood Award, which honors two graduating athletes who have exceptional leadership and are committed to the success of their sport.
