Sergi Nus

Assistant Coach

Sergi Nus enters his second season on the UCLA men’s soccer staff in 2026, after being hired by head coach Ryan Jorden in February 2025. In his first season in Westwood, Nus helped the Bruins earn their first Big Ten Championship by winning the Big Ten Conference Tournament. After a challenging non-conference slate, the Bruins won six of their final 10 matches of the 2026 season, including the final three regular-season matches, to earn a spot in the Big Ten Tournament. As the No. 4 seed in the tournament, the Bruins beat No. 1-ranked Maryland 2-0 in front of over 5,000 fans in the semifinal round before taking down Michigan 5-0 in the final, giving UCLA its first Big Ten Championship. Redshirt sophomore Sergi Solans Ormo tallied 16 goals and six assists, en route to second-team All-American honors. At the conclusion of the season, Tarun Karumanchi, Schinieder Mimy, Tre Wright were drafted in the MLS SuperDraft, while Solans Ormo signed a contract with Real Salt Lake. Prior to UCLA, Nus served as an assistant coach at Oregon State for three seasons. During his three seasons at OSU, the Beavers made the NCAA Tournament three times, including a College Cup appearance in 2023. "I am excited to join the best school in the country and contribute to the success of our student-athletes on and off the field," Nus said. "I am grateful to join this coaching staff and have the opportunity to learn from Coach Jorden. This is without a doubt the greatest brand of soccer in America, and I
