Annette Echikunwoke joined the track and field coaching staff for the 2025 season… Echikunwoke was a part of the Bearcats track and field team from 2014 to 2019… During her time at Cincinnati, she won a national championship in 2017, was a four-time conference champion, and a three-time first team All-American… This past summer, Echikunwoke won the silver medal at the Paris Olympic games in the hammer throw for Team USA.

Chris Borzor joined the track and field coaching staff for the 2025 season… Borzor was apart of the Bearcats track and field team from 2018 to 2022… During his time at Cincinnati, he broke multiple school records, won a conference championship and was named an All-American in 2020… This past summer, Borzor participated in the Paris Olympic games representing Haiti…

Former Cincinnati standout Jed Helker joined the Cincinnati track and field staff in August. Helker, who will work with distance and cross country, boasted an impressive career for the Bearcats, including earning All-Big 12 honors in the 1500m this spring. He qualified for the NCAA East First Round and reached the semifinals as well. The year prior, he clocked a career-best 1000m (2:25.02 for ninth place) at the Big 12's Indoor Championships. He was also an assistant coach for Walnut Hills High School during his time in the Queen City. “I am excited about the hiring of Jed Helker as our new assistant distance coach,” Susan Seaton, Cincinnati’s Director of Track and Field and Cross Country, said. “With his impressive background as a D1 distance runner and his intimate knowledge of our program as a former team member, I am confident that Jed will bring valuable expertise and guidance to our distance squad and team as a whole. Jed will be working closely with Coach Rothenberger, who will be our lead coach for the distance group." Prior to his time at UC, where he earned his master's in sport management, he also obtained his bachelor's in business administration from Wichita State in 2022. Women’s Associate Head Coach and Men’s Assistant Coach Nadine Faustin-Parker is set to enter her 13th year with the Bearcats, first joining the program in 2013. As a member of the University of Cincinnati track & field coaching staff, she will continue her work with the sprints, hurdles and relays group. A three-time Olympian for the Republic of Haiti in the 100m hurdles, Faustin-Parker has continued to see her athletes find great success under her guidance, including a banner 2016 outdoor campaign that went a long way to helping the women’s team capture the programs first American Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field title with championship crowns also collected during the 2017 outdoor, 2018 indoor and 2023 indoor seasons. // QUICK HITS ON COACH FAUSTIN-PARKER Kya Epps, in her first season after transferring from Division II Walsh, set school indoor records in the 60 and 200m. Camden Beatty and Macaela Walker each set men's and women's school records in the 400 hurdles, with Walker achieving All-America status as well. Helped lead Davenae Fagan to a breakout freshman season. Fagan earned All-Big 12 honors in the 400m and 4x400 relay for 2024 and qualified for the 2024 NCAA First Round.
