Erica Lemm joined the University of Massachusetts athletics department as the Assistant Athletic Director for Sport Administration in January 2024. She spent the previous nearly five years at Mount Holyoke College. She is the sport administrator for the Massachusetts cross country and track and field teams as well as for the men's and women's soccer programs. Prior to UMass, Lemm served as the Senior Associate Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator at nearby Mount Holyoke from August 2022 until departing to join the Massachusetts staff. From March of 2021 through July of 2022, Lemm was the Interim Director of Athletics/Senior Woman Administrator at Mount Holyoke after joining the Lyons staff as an Associate Director of Athletics/Senior Woman Administrator in May of 2019. She also served as a Deputy Title IX Coordinator throughout her time at the College. While in the interim AD role, Lemm was responsible for all aspects of intercollegiate athletics, as well as oversight of physical education and the Equestrian Center and was charged with leading the department's return to operations through the COVID-19 pandemic. Lemm earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Physical Education and Sport as well as a Master of Arts in Sport Administration from Central Michigan University.

Head Coach Fran O’Leary announced the addition of Jacob Reimers to the coaching staff as the goalkeeper coach in March of 2022. In the Spring of 2025, Reimers was elevated to the program's lead Assistant Coach. Reimers joined the Minutemen following time spent at Longwood as an assistant coach and a player. As a coach, Reimers performed training sessions for goalkeepers and managed video performance analysis for the keepers. Reimers also spent time as the ACGK 2020 Goalkeeping Coach, where he worked on youth goalkeeping development programs in affiliation with USL1 side and provided private functional training for multiple age groups. Prior to joining the coaching ranks, Reimers was a four-year starter and three-year team captain for Longwood and finished second in the Big South in saves as a sophomore in 2018. Reimers also made the Dean’s List four times. Reimers graduated from Longwood with a master’s degree in Business Administration: Data Analytics and received his undergraduate degree in business administration.

Pete Montague is entering his 20th year with the UMass Athletics Academic Success unit and second in the role of Associate Director of Olympic Sports. Montague is the academic counselor for the field hockey, ice hockey, men's soccer and softball programs. He oversees the book scholarship program in addition to supporting the other academic counselors who serve our Olympic sport programs. In addition to his membership in the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A), Montague has attended NCAA programs including the Life Skills Symposium, Leadership Academy Workshop and Effective Facilitation Workshop and the N4A Professional Development Institute Leader/Manager track. Prior to starting at UMass as an intern in 2004-05, Montague spent time in the athletic departments at Canisius College, Buffalo State College and D'Youville College. He was an assistant track and field coach for four years at Canisius and three years at the Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart. He earned his bachelor's degree in communication studies and his master's degree in sport administration at Canisius.

Takehiko Nakamura joined the Massachusetts men’s soccer staff as a volunteer assistant coach in July 2024. He graduated from UMass Amherst in 2004 with a Master’s in Sport Management from the Isenberg School of Management and later earned a Global Executive Master’s in International Sports Law from ISDE (Madrid). Nakamura was part of the Aoyama Gakuin University (Tokyo, Japan) men’s soccer squad that finished as national runner-up at the 1998 Prime Minister’s Cup, All Japan College Tournament. He went on to work in international business development with Major League Soccer and FC Barcelona, supporting MLS scouting efforts for 15 years. Returning to Amherst now as a coach, he brings both professional experience and a lasting connection to the UMass community. He has been recognized with the Alumni on the Rise Award and the Exceptional Service to McCormack Award in recognition of his contributions. Nakamura currently serves as President & CEO of Blue United Corporation and Professor at Aoyama Gakuin University.
