Anderson serves as the Tigers' recruiting coordinator while also assisting with middle-distance and distance athletes. He also served last year as indoor meet director as Mizzou hosted five indoor meets on its new state-of-the-art indoor track at Hearnes Center. In addition to his track and field duties, Anderson has played an active role in the Tigers’ cross country program. During the 2023 season, his first year, he assisted with coaching the Tigers and worked with distance athletes who contributed to SEC and NCAA regional performances. In 2024, the men’s team placed 5th at the SEC Cross Country Championships, while the Tiger men and women finished 9th and 11th, respectively, at the NCAA Regional Championships. He participated in coaching athletes who competed at SEC and NCAA levels
