Jerad Stottlemyre

Biography

Jerad Stottlemyre joined the Bears women’s basketball team as an assistant coach before the 2023-2024 season. "We are very pleased to have Jerad and Katie join our women's basketball staff," Mattio said. "Their knowledge of the game combined with their ability to develop players and build strong relationships will be a major asset in elevating our program." Stottlemyre joins UNC after coaching four seasons at Saint Martin's University, and most recently as an associate head coach. He helped SMU to its first top-25 ranking in school history during the 2021-2022 season. Stottlemyre spent the 2018-19 season at the University of Washington. At UW, Stottlemyre assisted in travel, scouting reports, tracking in-game statistics, post-game analysis, gathering practice statistics, and assisting the coaching staff in practice drills. Before UW, he spent over three years developing youth basketball players as a coach and private trainer for ScoutsFocus, Eastside Basketball Club, Breakthrough Basketball, and Newport Select Basketball.
