Biography

Yasir Rosemond joined the Oregon staff prior to the 2025-26 season. Rosemond spent the previous four seasons on the Indiana coaching staff, including three seasons as associate head coach. The Hoosiers won 19 or more games in all four years with Rosemond on the staff and made two NCAA Tournament appearances. Rosemond helped develop multiple all-conference honorees in Bloomington and played a key role in IU landing numerous top transfer portal classes. Prior to Indiana, Rosemond spent two seasons at Alabama (2017-19) working under Avery Johnson and helping develop two first round draft picks. He joined the Crimson Tide after three seasons at Georgia (2014-17), two at Samford (2012-14) and the 2010-11 season at Seattle. The Atlanta native returns to Eugene after spending five seasons (2005-10) on the Ducks' staff, where he coached three future NBA draft picks in Aaron Brooks, Maarty Leunen and Malik Hairston. Rosemond got his start in coaching at Redlands Community College in Oklahoma. R
