In 2022, the Royals posted a 24-12 mark in Seamster's first season and earned the No. 3 seed in the Landmark Conference Tournament. Seamster came to Scranton from Rutgers-Newark, where for the last two seasons, she navigated the Raiders through both the challenging New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) and the COVID-19 pandemic. In her first full season as a head coach in 2021, Seamster led Rutgers-Newark to the NJAC Playoffs. Seamster joined Rutgers-Newark from fellow Landmark Conference member Susquehanna, where she served as an assistant coach for the River Hawks from 2018 through 2020.
