Janice Winslow was named the 11th women's tennis coach in Scranton history in August 2013. In 11 seasons, Winslow has led the Royals to a combined record of 114-67 (.630) with 10 playoff appearances highlighted by a Landmark Conference championship and NCAA Tournament appearance in 2018. She has also twice been named the Landmark Conference Coach of the Year, earning the award in both 2015 and 2018, and was named the 2018 United States Tennis Association's Eastern Pennsylvania District College Coach of the Year. Winslow returned to coaching after leading the women's tennis team at nearby Marywood University in Scranton for 21 seasons from 1986 to 2007. During that time, she became the winningest coach in Marywood athletics history by going 199-63 (.760) while posting 20 winning seasons, including 10 seasons of 10-or-more victories. The Pacers won nine Pennsylvania Athletic Conference titles and two Eastern States Athletic Conference titles under Winslow's tutelage. She was PAC Coach of the Year on six occasions and was inducted into the Marywood Athletics Hall of Fame in 2003. Winslow started her professional career at The University of Scranton in 1986 as Associate Director of Recreational Sports, later becoming Director of Recreational Sports. She has also served as an adjunct professor since 1994 and is a member of the United States Tennis Association.
