Bryanna Brady enters her first season with the USC Upstate women’s basketball in 2025-26. Brady joins the Spartans following a one-season stint as a graduate assistant at Virginia Commonwealth. In her lone season with the Rams, she helped mold one of the nation’s top defensive units, ranking 22nd in the country in both scoring defense and field goal percentage defense, limiting opponents to 56.5 points per game and 36.8 percent shooting respectively. She worked with a pair of All-A-10 performers, helping Mary-Anna Asare earn First Team honors and Mykel Parham earn All-Defensive Team honors. She was selected for the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association “So You Want To Be A Coach” program’s 2025 class. Before beginning her coaching career, Brady was a three-year standout at Presbyterian following a transfer from UC Riverside. She helped the Blue Hose to a 2024 Big South Tournament Championship and appearance in the NCAA Tournament, earning the league’s fourth-ever NCAA victory with a First Four win over Sacred Heart. She finished the 2024-24 season as the Big South’s leader in field goal percentage, ranking 24th in the NCAA with a 56.6 shooting clip. Brady captured a pair of Second Team All-Big South nods in her final two seasons (2022-23 and 2023-24) and earned a spot on the 2024 Big South All-Tournament Team. Isaac Mills enters his first season with the USC Upstate women’s basketball program in -. Mills joins the Spartans following a two-season stint as a graduate assistant at Wisconsin, his alma mater. In his time with the Badgers, he helped Serah Williams to First Team All-Big Ten and All-Defensive Team honors in both 2023-24 and 2024-25 while seeing Ronnie Porter earn Honorable Mention All-Big Ten honors in 2023-24. In Mills’ first season with Wisconsin in 2023-24, the Badgers advanced to the quarterfinal round of the WNIT. As part of his duties in his role, he managed the Badgers’ group of 40-plus student managers and practice players. A former Wisconsin student manager, Mills spent four seasons as a student manager from 2019-20 to 2022-23. A native of Ripon, Wis., Mills graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Wisconsin in 2023 and with a Master of Science in Sports Leadership from Wisconsin in 2025.

During the 2024-25 campaign, she helped develop Big South Conference Freshman of the Year Cassie Gallagher—also an Honorable Mention All-Big South and Big South All-Freshman Team selection—and Big South All-Freshman Team honoree Gwen Jenkins. Between the two players, Upstate captured eight of a possible 15 Big South Freshman of the Week honors. She also helped mold the Big South’s top rebounding unit, helping the Spartans lead the league in rebounding margin, defensive rebounds per game, and rebounds per game while tutoring the conference’s top individual rebounder Rebekah Gordon. Following the season, DeGraaf was selected to the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Thirty Under 30. DeGraaf’s second season with the Spartans saw Upstate qualify for its highest level of postseason basketball in the Division I era (2007-pres.), earning a bid to the 2024 WNIT. The bid followed the program’s best regular season finish in the D1 era, finishing second in the Big South standings and earning the No. 2 seed in the Big South Women’s Basketball Championship. The Spartans advanced to the semifinal round of the Championship for the first time in program history. During the campaign, the Lakers reeled off a program-best 11-game winning streak. Mercyhurst finished the year ranked seventh in the NCAA in three-point field goal percentage defense (24.8%). Glick’s first season at Mercyhurst saw a dramatic shooting improvement from beyond the arc, improving the team’s three-point field goal percentage to 36.3 percent—up from 29.3 percent the season prior—ranking ninth in the NCAA in the category at year’s end.
