Fresno State's rushing attack was the highlight of the offense in 2025, totaling 2,216 yards rushing for the most by a Bulldog team since 2014. Fresno State balanced the rush attack behind the efforts of Rayshon Luke, Bryson Donelson, Brandon Ramirez, Johnathan Arceneaux and Elijah Gilliam. Luke led the way with 702 yards and six touchdowns, earning All-Mountain West honorable mention. All five backs contributed in their own way, with not one having fewer than 40 rush attempts on the year. The 2024 season saw senior Malik Sherrod out with injury for a majority of the year, but a fresh body entered the room in freshman and local talent Bryson Donelson.
