Entz led the Bulldogs to a 9-4 record in his first season at the helm. With nine wins, he secured the second-most wins by a first-year head coach in Fresno State program history. He led the ‘Dogs to a win over Miami (OH) in the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl, becoming only the second first-year head coach at Fresno State to lead the team to a bowl win in their first season.
