In May of 2016, Dartmouth graduate and former assistant Brayton Osgood rejoined the staff of the ski team as the head coach of the men’s Nordic ski team. Osgood's 2018 squad featured Callan DeLine ’18 who made the All-America First Team in the 20K freestyle and Second Team in the 10K classical, while Luke Brown ’18 grabbed a second-team spot in the latter race to help Dartmouth post their best finish (third) at the NCAA Championship in seven years. Osgood guided the Big Green in 2023 with three of his skiers earning All-East honors, including John Steel Hagenbuch ’25, who not only was the EISA Men's Nordic Rookie of the Year, but also went on to become the first men’s Nordic skier at Dartmouth to be crowned to more than one All-America First Team in over 50 years. Jack Lange ’26 made the All-America second team in the 20K classic as well, giving the Green three All-America performances for the first time in five years. He built on his successful 2023 season by coaching Hagenbuch to a national championship in the Men's 7.5K Freestyle. The national champion also took home the USCSA Men's Nordic National Skier of the Year and All-American honors. Lange also had another successful season, competing in the 20K classic at the NCAA Championship and earning second team All-America for his top ten finish on the second day of the National Championship. Chauncey Morgan joined the Big Green in September of 2025, serving his second season as the assistant alpine coach for the 2026-27 season. The Etna, N.H. native returns home after a four year collegiate career at Colby College in Maine. Morgan, who graduated from Colby in 2023, was a two time NCAA National Championship participant at Colby, including competing in his senior season at Lake Placid in 2023. He also served as a captain for the Mules, leading his teammates, assisting coaches with team logistics and operations, as well as serving as the team's representative on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. While a student-athlete, Morgan worked as a coach for Eliteam, coaching youth ages 8-14 that were aspiring alpine athletes. Most recently, he worked as a player coach and mentor at Burke Mountain Academy, where he attended high school.

J.B. Weber joined Dartmouth Athletics as Senior Associate Athletics Director for Physical Education and Recreation in July 2023. In February 2026, he was promoted to Executive Associate Athletics Director for Business Strategy and Operations, where he oversees Capital Projects, Event Operations, Facilities and the Business and Finance Office while remaining Director of Dartmouth's Physical Education and Recreation programs. Weber serves as sport administrator for Women's Equestrian, Men's and Women's Skiing, and Men's and Women's Squash Programs. He is a PISA certified alpine ski instructor and teaches golf and alpine skiing in the PE program. Prior to Dartmouth, Weber spent six and a half years at the College of Charleston, beginning as assistant director of academic services in 2017 and advancing to senior associate athletics director for compliance. He was responsible for overseeing NCAA and CAA compliance for 19 varsity teams and served as Athletics Diversity and Inclusion Designee. Before Charleston, Weber spent nearly three years at Virginia Military Institute and seven years at The Citadel, where he began as graduate assistant football coach before transitioning into compliance and academic support roles. His coaching experience includes positions as linebackers coach at Franklin & Marshall and head high school football coach at James Island Christian School for four years. Rachel Zafren joined the Big Green in September of 2025 as the nordic assistant coach. Prior to Dartmouth, Zafren spent a year as a coach for Alaska Winter Stars, running daily training as well as strength and agility sessions. She worked with a variety of skiers, ranging from beginners to internationally ranked elite racers. While with the Winter Stars, Zafren also served as a 2025 Junior Nationals Team Alaska Coach. She's also coached at the high school level, coaching the Service High School ski team. Zafren coached the girls team to a runner up finish in 2024 and the state championship in 2025. Following the 2025 season, she was named the Alaska Region IV Girl’s Coach of the Year. Zafren competed collegiately at EISA foe Bowdoin. She graduated in 2018 with her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science. Following graduation, she volunteered for the Polar Bears, serving as a carnival assistant and wax tester for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 season.
