Head Coach
On April 12, 2024, Marshall Director of Athletics Christian Spears announced that Transylvania University head coach Juli Fulks has agreed to become the 9th head coach in the history of Marshall's Women's Basketball program. Fulks, a National Champion at the Division III level, came to Marshall after being named the 2024 WBCA Division III National Coach of the Year following a 2023-24 season in which Transylvania finished 33-1 and advanced to the NCAA Division III Final Four for the second straight season. "I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve Marshall University as the Head Women's Basketball Coach," Fulks said. "I would like to thank President Smith, Christian Spears and their entire leadership team for entrusting me and our future staff in leading the program. We will take immense pride in serving our athletes and mentoring their personal growth as students, leaders and future professionals. Go Herd!" Year one for Fulks in Huntington saw a team peaking at the right time in the season, Marshall won a record four games in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament. Fulks oversaw the league's leading scorer, Aislynn Hayes at 17.7 PPG. Other standout performers included Meredith Maier, who connected on 76 3-point field goals, third most in program history. Associate Athletic Trainer (WBB)
Brandi Anders was named an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Marshall in July 2014. She is the Athletic Trainer for the Thundering Herd Women's Basketball program. Anders was hired as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Marshall in the summer of 2012. Her primary coverage included the men's and women's cross country team and swimming and diving teams. Anders earned a Bachelor's of Science in Athletic Training degree from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, N.C. While at WCU, she worked with the men's basketball team, women's soccer team, UNC-Asheville volleyball team, local high schools, doctor offices and physical therapy clinic. Also, in the fall of her senior year she had a semester long internship with the University of Virginia football team. Anders obtained her Master of Science degree with a concentration in Athletic Training from Marshall University in 2014. Anders is originally from Tuckasegee, N.C.

Assistant Coach
Mykasa Robinson, an Ashland, Kentucky native, returned to the Tri-State and joined the Thundering Herd staff prior to the 2024-25 season after serving as a graduate assistant for Jeff Walz at the University of Louisville during the 2023-24 season. Under Walz, Robinson worked in skill development for the Cardinals, specializing on the defensive end of the floor, while also serving as a mentor for student-athletes in dealing with responsibilities on the athletic and academic end. As a player, Robinson holds the all-time Louisville record for games played with 162, which came over five seasons. In each of her five seasons, the Cardinals advanced to the Elite Eight and twice they advanced to the Final Four. Robinson was a three-time ACC All-Defensive Team honoree and was named by ESPN's Mechelle Voepel as a Top-12 Defensive Player in the NCAA.
