Graduate Assistant - Director of Operations
Haley Gafford joined the TCU beach volleyball program as a graduate assistant and director of operations in July of 2025. Gafford joins the Frogs with a strong background in operations and event coordination from her time with the Texas A&M track & field program. While in College Station, she served as a student manager for the track & field team, assisting with a wide variety of operational tasks. She provided logistical support by preparing meet itineraries, assisting in travel planning, reporting applicable information to compliance, overseeing volunteer positions for home track meets and additional duties. Gafford also had the opportunity to volunteer for the USA Track & Field Junior Olympics. In this role, she ensured proper setup for the event, directed athletes to the correct locations and oversaw check-in. Gafford graduated from Texas A&M in just three years with a bachelor's degree in sport management in May of 2025.

Associate Director of Sports Medicine
Miranda Jensen is entering her seventh season as athletic trainer with Beach Volleyball at TCU and third year as Associate Director of Sports Medicine. Jensen came to TCU in August of 2019 from Texas Tech University where she worked with the M/W Track and Field/ Cross Country programs. Before her three years in Lubbock, she completed a one-year internship at UNC-Charlotte with the football program. Jensen also worked at the University of South Carolina from 2013-2015 while completing her master's degree in physical education with an emphasis in Athletic Training. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in athletic training serving as an athletic training student in the athletics department 2010-2013. Miranda lives in Fort Worth with her dog, Jeter.

Assistant Coach
Sarah Mamelstein, a highly accomplished professional player and 2020 Tokyo Olympian, joined the TCU beach volleyball staff as an assistant coach in July of 2025 and enters her first season with the Horned Frogs. Marmelstein, formerly Sponcil, has had a multitude of experiences on both the national and international stage, both in indoor and beach volleyball. Her accomplishments in the sand are highlighted by her appearance at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games on behalf of Team USA. Alongside her partner Kelly Claes the duo made history as the youngest beach volleyball team to ever represent the United States at the Olympics. At 24, Marmelstein was also the second-youngest beach volleyball player to ever represent the Red, White and Blue at the Olympic Games. Her accomplishments don’t stop there, as she also won gold at the AVP Hermosa Beach Open, the FIVB Ostrava Beach Open and the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour. Thanks to her success on the AVP Tour in 2022, she was named Defensive Player of the Year, as voted on by her peers. She competed collegiately for both Loyola Marymount and UCLA, and during her time with the Bruins she became a two-time National Champion in 2018 and 2019. With UCLA, she was an All-American and Pair of the Year recipient in 2018. She also competed in indoor volleyball, ranking third in the country in total assists in 2018. At LMU, Marmelstein was named WCC Player of the Year and was an All-WCC First Team Selection. The Phoenix native won gold for Team US
