Sullins was Arkansas' program record holder in the weight and hammer throws (the former since broken in 2021), was a volunteer on the coaching staff the last four years in addition to working in the private sector. “I am thrilled about the addition of Erich Sullins to our team!” Seaton said. “He comes to us after a successful career as a thrower and volunteer coach at Arkansas. Sullins' career competition highlights includes being a five-time USATF Championship qualifier and doing the same in the hammer throw for the 2019 NCAA Finals and 2021 US Olympic Trials. His PR of 74.56m at the USATF Throws Festival in Tucson, Arizona, is the second-furthest of any active coach nationally.
