Jamie Franks completed his 11th season as Denver's head men's soccer coach and his 14th with the program overall in 2025 after being named the program's 10th head coach in January of 2015. Denver got back to the College Cup for the second time in program history in 2024, both under Franks. The Pioneers earned a number three national seed in the 2024 campaign to earn home games against Gardner-Webb, [14] Indiana and UMass en-route to a trip to Cary for the national semifinals. The Pios spent a good portion of the middle part of the season ranked No. 1 in the country in the Top Drawer Soccer poll. In 11 seasons, the head coach of the 2016 National Coaching Staff of the Year has put together a record of 136-46-36, improving Denver's record since Franks joined the staff as an assistant in 2012 to 171-63-44. Combined as a player and coach, Franks is 270-90-61 in college soccer, having reached six College Cups and winning a national championship at Wake Forest as a player in that span.

He also served as an assistant at High Point for three seasons (2011-13) with a stint at Wake Forest University as a volunteer assistant in 2013. In his college playing career at Elon, Brad Franks was a four-year starter (2007-10), appearing in 77 matches and tallying 22 points on five goals and 12 assists. As a four-year starter, he led the Knights to a 39-21-12 record and was part of a team that won the NEC Championship and reached the third round of the NCAA Tournament in 2012. Lissek currently holds the Knights' all-time career record for shutouts with 26. He graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson in 2014 with a degree in management.

During his time on staff at Laramie County, he helped lead the Golden Eagles to six regular season Region IX Championships, three Region IX Tournament Championships, a North Central District Championship and NJCAA National Tournament Final Four. Arenas helped produce six Region IX Freshman of the Year award winners, three Region IX Players of the Year, seven Junior College All-Americans and was a part of two United Soccer Coaches Region Staffs of the Year. The Cheyenne, Wyo., native played for Laramie County for two seasons before transferring to McPherson College.
