Assistant Coach
Dee Anderson was hired as an assistant coach in April 2026. Anderson oversees the wings and is the community service liaison for the program. She came to Memphis after two seasons at Georgia Southern, joining Hana Haden's first staff in Statesboro. Senior wing Kishyah Anderson had a breakout season in her first year under Coach Anderson's tutelage in 2025-26. She was named the Sun Belt Player of the Year behind 14.5 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game and shooting splits of 50.6% from the field, 46.7% from distance and 76.2% from the line. Prior to her time at GS, Anderson spent four years at UNC Asheville as an assistant coach, and she got her coaching start as a graduate assistant at Clemson. She was been named to the WBCA 30 Under 30 Coaches list in 2024, created to recognize 30 up-and-coming women’s basketball coaches aged 30 and under at all levels of the game. A high-level player in her own right, Anderson played 121 games for the University of Florida from 2015-18, totaling 724 points, 416 rebounds and 304 career assists. The Viera, Florida, native was on the 2015 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll and graduated from UF with a degree in telecommunications.

Assistant Coach
Dexter Jenkins became an assistant coach at Memphis in April 2026. Jenkins joined the Tigers after three seasons in Statesboro as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator, helping them to the Sun Belt regular season championship in 2025-26. Overseeing the guard room, Jenkins guided guards Destiny Garrett and McKenna Eddings to Second and Third Team All-Conference selections, respectively. Garrett led the Eagles in points (15.1) and assists (3.9), and Eddings ranked fifth in the conference with 33.8 minutes per game and hit double figures in 22 games. In the 2023-24 season prior to Haden's arrival, Jenkins helped guide a GS squad that set a new single-season record for blocked shots (159) and developed wing Terren Ward to an All-Sun Belt Conference player behind 22 points per game. Jenkins has also had assistant coaching stints at Saint Francis, Winston-Salem State and Northwestern (Ohio). He began his career as a graduate assistant at North Carolina Central, eventually working his way into a director of operations role before his first coaching gig at Northwestern in 2017-18. He received both a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in physical education from NC Central. He and his wife, Shaleema, are the parents of two children, a son, Dade, and a daughter, Shi.

Assistant Coach
Shanasa Sanders was hired as an assistant coach in April 2026. Sanders joins head coach Hana Haden’s staff after competing against her in the Sun Belt as a co-associate head coach at Georgia State. Overseeing the guards, Sanders helped develop Mikyla Tolivert into a Third Team All-Sun Belt player in 2024-25 behind 15.5 points, 5.4 points and 2.5 assists per game. Prior to her four-year stint at GSU, Sanders was an assistant coach at her alma mater Stetson, where she trained and developed 10 all-conference players. In 2021-22, she helped guide the Hatters to a 20-win campaign and an Atlantic Sun Conference semifinal appearance. Sanders spent one season as a varsity assistant coach at Jean Ribault High School in Jacksonville, Florida, which won the 2017 FHSAA 6A state title. While there, Sanders helped coach McDonald’s All-American Rennia Davis who went on to get drafted ninth overall in the 2021 WNBA draft by the Minnesota Lynx. A successful guard in her own right, Sanders began her collegiate playing career with two seasons at Cincinnati, highlighted by Big East All-Freshman honors. After transferring to Stetson, she earned all-conference honors as a senior while leading the Hatters to the 2013 Atlantic Sun title and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. She played three seasons professionally in Montenegro, the Czech Republic, Spain and Dubai from 2013-16. Assistant Coach
Tiffany Conner was announced as Memphis' newest assistant coach in April 2026. Conner spent the year prior at Georgia Southern, playing a part in the historic 2025-26 season that saw a Sun Belt regular season championship. Prior to that, she spent two seasons at the College of Charleston and also enjoyed two 20-win seasons. In her last three years as an assistant coach between GS and CofC, the combined record of her teams is 70-26 (.729). Conner has appeared in five postseason games in that time frame with four of them coming at Charleston in the WNIT. Prior to her time in Charleston, Conner was on the staff at Saint Francis University in 2022-23 and at Chicago State the season prior. Other coaching stops include stints at Fort Valley State, Labette Community College and Rutgers-Newark. Conner, a Teaneck, New Jersey, native, was a four-year standout at South Florida, where she led the team in rebounding as a junior and left the program tied for second in career games played (125). She graduated with her bachelor's degree in communications from USF in 2012 and earned her master's degree in sports management from Southern New Hampshire in 2017.
