Celia M'Boua-Chamov in her fifth year with the Tigers and third as the director of operations. M'Boua-Chamov oversees logistics for the program, including team budget, equipment, travel, fundraising and volunteer opportunities. A 2013 graduate of Lindenwood University, M'Boua-Chamov was a six-time NAIA Champion in the indoor and outdoor triple jump (2010-11) for the Lions, and a 2011 NAIA All-American in the outdoor long jump. She also has experience on the international stage, competing as a professional triple jumper in France for four years, three of which had her ranked in the top-five for France, and placed fourth at the 2012 Olympic Trials. M'Boua-Chamov spent two years as an assistant track and field coach at Missouri Baptist University (2013-15), working with the jumps and short sprints. Included among the highlights during her time with the Spartans was the success of Steve Emere, who won an NAIA title in the triple jump, and was fifth in the long jump, under M'Boua-Chamov tutelage. She also served as a volunteer coach on the Division I level, working with Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville from 2014-15, assisting with team operations. M'Boua-Chamov holds a B.A. in sport management from Lindenwood University, and a Master of Business Administration from Missouri Baptist University. Degrees: Miami - Master’s in exercise physiology (2008) Washington - B.A. in psychology (1999) Eileen Halter (McAllister) is in her fourth year on the Mizzou coaching staff after spending ten years at the helm of the cross country program at Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville (SIUE), and two years as the head coach for both cross country and track and field. Halter will serve as a volunteer assistant coach on the Tigers’ staff with the cross country team, and distance/mid-distance event groups, and will also help oversee the program’s recruiting efforts. Halter also leads the team’s strength and conditioning workouts for the team’s distance group. During her tenure at the helm of SIUE, the Cougars saw 23 conference champions, 42 indoor and outdoor school records, and were outstanding performers in the classroom, earning recognition from the NCAA for top academic performance. Of the many individuals that flourished under Halter’s leadership was SIUE great, La’Derrick Ward, who was the first NCAA All-American for the Cougars after earning podium finishes in the long jump at the 2014-15 outdoor championships. The Cougars also earned two OVC (Ohio Valley Conference) Male Athlete of the Championship awards with Braxton Klavins (2014) and Ward (2015). Smith previously spent three years as a student manager (2011-14), two as the director of operations (2014-16) and one as the recruiting coordinator (2016-17) with the Tigers. In his current role, Smith spearheads the Mizzou recruiting efforts while also contributing to the daily workings of the mid-distance and distance runners on the cross country and track & field teams. During his time on staff, he has helped cross country teams earn a number of accolades including the women’s 2016 NCAA Midwest Regional Championship title, third place finishes for the women’s cross country team at the SEC Cross Country Championships in 2016 and 2019 and a third-place result for the men’s team at the 2021 SEC Championships. Smith was on staff for a highly successful distance season in 2017-18, as the women’s cross country team placed fourth at the SEC Cross Country Championships, while the women’s track & field team placed ninth and 11th at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Champion
