Sullivan enters her third season at the helm of the program after leading Mizzou to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances including a Sweet 16 bid in 2024. The 2024 AVCA Central Region Coach of the Year, Sullivan, led the Tigers to the NCAA Sweet 16 with a 22-9 overall record. MU earned the seventh seed in the NCAA Tournament and finished the campaign ranked in the top-25. Mizzou registered 20-plus overall wins and 10-plus SEC wins in a season for the first time since 2019. MU finished tied for third in the SEC this season with an 11-5 mark after being selected to finish sixth in the preseason poll. The Tigers also surpassed their SEC (9) and overall win (18) totals from 2023, when Sullivan was named SEC Coach of the Year in her first season in Columbia. Mizzou picked up a five-set win over No. 9 Texas Nov. 1 in Austin, Texas. Director of Volleyball Operations
Emily (Siefken) Garrett was named Mizzou's Director of Volleyball Operations on March 13, 2023. As the Director of Volleyball Operations, she oversees all aspects of travel, budget, and summer camps, while also managing all statistical analysis and video. Prior to Missouri, Garrett was also the Director of Operations for Volleyball at Texas Tech and Illinois State. During her time at both schools, Garrett handled team travel, administrative duties, statistical data analysis, and served as the volleyball camp director amongst other responsibilities. Prior to working with volleyball, Garrett served as a graduate assistant director of operations for the men's golf team at Illinois State. Garrett also has athletic experience with Western Illinois' marketing and external relations staff. She helped promote Leatherneck athletic events through various channels, including social media. She also interned with the Illinois High School Association, where she proposed and evaluated revenue-generating methods. A native of Burlington, Iowa, Garrett earned a bachelor's degree from Monmouth College (Illinois) in exercise science with a minor in business in 2016 while competing on the Fighting Scots basketball and softball teams. She graduated from Illinois State in 2018 with a master's degree in sport management. Director of Player Development
Nikki Hauser was named Mizzou volleyball's Director of Player Development on Monday, July 7, 2025. Hauser comes to Columbia having spent the last four seasons as the director of volleyball operations at the University of Virginia following a one-year stint in the same role at North Dakota State. While at UVA, Hauser also served as the director of operations for Steve Garland's Cavalier wrestling program. She also played volleyball at Southern Connecticut State University (NCAA Division II) in New Haven. Hauser was a four-year member of the Owls volleyball program, playing outside hitter/right side for SCSU from 2013-17. She also served as team captain and was a Student Athletic Advisory Committee Representative. Hauser graduated from Southern Connecticut State in 2017 with a bachelor's in business administration with a marketing concentration and a minor in Spanish. She also spent a year as the graduate assistant men's and women's volleyball coach at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. Hauser holds a master's degree in sports management from Briar Cliff University and a master's of leadership in sport from North Dakota State.

One of the most vital staff hires early in Head Coach Barry Odom’s tenure was that of Rohrk Cutchlow (pronounced ROAR-k) to join his new staff at Mizzou as Director of Athletic Performance. Now entering his third year at Mizzou, Cutchlow oversees all aspects of the Mizzou Football strength and conditioning program. Cutchlow is a 20-year veteran of the athletic performance industry, and he’s regarded as one of the top coaches in the trade. For the past 14years, he’s directed athletic performance for football programs, including four at his alma mater Memphis, where he played a big role in Memphis developing into one of the top programs in the American Conference. The Tigers won the AAC and finished 10-3 overall in 2014, and followed up with another strong 9-4 season in 2015, spending much of the season ranked in the top-25. During his time with Memphis, Cutchlow aided in the development of Memphis quarterback Paxton Lynch, a Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award finalist and a first-round NFL draft pick. Prior to Memphis, Cutchlow served the 2011 football season as the director of strength and conditioning at Tulsa, where he oversaw a program that won eight games and played in the Armed Forces Bowl. Before that, Cutchlow directed football strength and conditioning at Illinois State for seven seasons (Nov. 2003-Feb. 2011). He served as the Redbirds’ strength and conditioning coordinator his first three football seasons (2004-06), before being promoted to assistant athletic director fo

Dr. Sharrell Straughter began her tenure at Mizzou in the fall of 2019. Her current responsibilities include providing athletic training services for the women’s volleyball team after spending two seasons with the Tiger's football and women's tennis programs. Prior to her time at Mizzou, she spent the previous five years at Prairie View A&M University, working with the volleyball, men’s basketball, men's & women’s tennis, softball, and bowling teams. Straughter graduated in 2022 with her Doctorate in Athletic Training focusing her research on sports neurology and concussions. She has a strong passion in return to academics' post-injury for student-athletes. Straughter received her bachelor's degree in athletic training from Indiana University in 2011 and her masters’ degree in exercise science from Southern Illinois University in 2013. She is a board-certified athletic trainer and a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. She is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, and currently lives in Columbia.
