Kyle Alstott joined the Panthers as a volunteer assistant coach ahead of the 2025 season and assists the UNI staff in all-around aspects of the team, including in-state recruiting. Alstott spent the previous four seasons coaching softball in Fort Dodge, Iowa, with the Iowa Central Tritons. While he was there, the Tritons went a combined 137-93-1 (.593) in NJCAA Division II competition. Iowa Central recorded 30+ win campaigns and trips to the NJCAA regional tournament in each of his four seasons on staff, including a 37-21 record in 2024. In 2022, the Tritons posted a 38-18 season and reached the NJCAA regional tournament championship. During his time in Fort Dodge, Alcott also helped coach Third Team All-American infielder Loghen Schnetzer, as well as 42 All-Region selections.

Monica Wright is heading into her sixth season as a member of the Panthers coaching staff in 2026. Wright works with UNI’s pitchers to improve in the circle over their collegiate career. In her first five seasons with the Panthers, Wright has coached two MVC Pitchers of the Year, three All-MVC First Team pitchers, an NFCA All-District Third Team pitcher, and a MVC Championship Elite 17 winner. In five season’s under Wright’s direction, UNI has lowered its ERA, increased strikeouts, and lowered opponent batting averages. Wright's pitchers at UNI have been nationally ranked by the NCAA in several categories including ERA, hits allowed per game, strikeout-to-walk ratio, strikeouts, and strikeouts per seven innings. The Panthers have also led the MVC in strikeouts and strikeouts per game over Wright's time as pitching coach with UNI. _______________________ UNI head softball coach Ryan Jacobs Wednesday announced the addition of veteran pitching coach Monica Wright to his staff. Wright brings over a decade of coaching and elite playing experience to the position and returns to the place where she began her college career. "We are excited for Monica to return to the place she chose out of high school," Jacobs said. "She is a student of the game and works very hard to keep building her knowledge base, which she uses to help herself grow and get the most out of her players. She has a great sense of the Missouri Valley Conference, which is a huge part of the reason we brought her on."

Ozzie Adams joined the UNI staff ahead of the 2025 season and will primarily be responsible for developing outfielders and assisting with the hitter development program. His in-game duties include defensive positioning and serving as the offensive bench coach. Day-to-day responsibilities will encompass opponent scouting, evaluating and recruiting future student-athletes, as well as coordinating softball camps and team travel. As an offensive coach, Adams aided in the development of one of the program's top offensive units to date. The Panthers broke single-season records with 79 home runs, 244 walks, and 94 stolen bases. The Panthers ranked ninth in the nation with 1.58 home runs per game and 10th in the nation with 244 total walks. UNI led the Valley in multiple statistical categories including double plays (20), double plays per game (0.4), home runs (79), home runs per game (1.58), on-base percentage (.403), RBIs per game (6.02), scoring (6.42), slugging percentage (.516), stolen bases per game (1.88), total runs (321), total stolen bases (94), and total walks (244). Individually, five Panthers were named to the All-MVC teams including Kate Lappe, Kylee Sanders, Skylar Benesh, and Addison McElrath on the First Team and Anna Wischnowski on the Second Team.
