Head Baseball Coach
Mike Bartoletti, who completed his 22nd season as the head coach of the Royals in 2025, is the winningest coach in program history with 412 career victories and has led the Royals to both the 2021 and 2024 Landmark Conference Championship and the 2015 and 2022 Landmark Regular Season championship. Bartoletti was also named the Athletics Facilities Manager in January of 2018. Bartoletti has led the Royals to 11 Landmark Conference playoff appearances since the league was formed in 2007-08, including nine appearances in the conference championship. The Royals have had 11 20-win seasons and two .500 campaigns during that time. Additionally, Scranton has currently posted five straight 20-win seasons (2021-2025). Overall, Bartoletti is 412-430-2 (.489) in 22 seasons at the helm. Prior to his appointment at Scranton in 2003, Bartoletti served as head baseball coach at nearby Lackawanna College from 1994-99, leading the Falcons to a five-year record of 111-86-2 (.563), which included five straight Region XIX post-season tournament appearances and four seasons with at least 20 victories. He also served as head women's basketball coach there from 1994-2001, posting an overall record of 163-40 (.802), which included a Region XIX championship in 1995.
