Chrissy Trescavage was named The University of Scranton head women's lacrosse coach effective October 22, 2018, and enters her seventh season at the helm of the program in 2025. The Royals posted a 15-6 record in 2025 and won their third straight Landmark Conference Title with a win over Catholic. In her first season at the helm of the Royals program in 2019, Trescavage led Scranton to unprecedented heights, as the squad finished the year with their best record in a season in program history (16-3) and ranked nationally in the IWLCA Division III Top 25 poll for the first time ever (20th). Trescavage brought six seasons of head coaching experience at the NCAA Division III level to Scranton, having most recently led Misericordia from 2013-16 where she guided the Cougars to three straight MAC Freedom Conference playoff appearances and was named the league's coach of the year in 2015. Before taking over at Misericordia, Trescavage was the head coach at Lycoming for the 2011 and 2012 seasons. Trescavage was a standout performer on the field at Susquehanna from 2002 to 2006, scoring 102 goals during her career and serving as a team captain. She excelled in the classroom as well, garnering Mid-Atlantic Conference Academic Honor Roll laurels all four years.
