University of Denver Women's Soccer

Julianne Sitch completed her third season as head coach for the DU women's soccer team in 2025. She has led Denver to multiple Summit League regular-season titles and coached teams to wins over ranked opponents. Prior to Denver, she was head coach at University of Chicago men's soccer, leading them to their first NCAA Division III National Championship with a 22-0-1 record. She also served as assistant coach for Chicago Red Stars, reaching the 2021 NWSL Final. Her playing career included professional experience with Sky Blue FC, Chicago Red Stars, and international play in Australia and Sweden. She was a standout at DePaul, setting school records for career points (90), goals (32) and assists (26), and earning multiple honors including NSCAA Second Team All-America.

Aaron Manahan completed his first season as an assistant coach (skill instruction and recruiting) for the DU women's soccer team in 2025. In 2025, helped lead Denver to a share of the Summit League regular-season title, the program's ninth overall. Registered a win over a top-25 opponent for second consecutive season (2-1 over No. 25 Colorado State on September 14). Finished 9-5-4 on the season including 5-2-0 at home and 6-1-1 in the Summit League. Helped coach Emma Thielbahr and Hannah Tate to Summit League Defensive Player and Midfielder of the Year awards, respectively. Prior experience includes Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club Coach (2024-pres.), D'Evelyn High School Girls Soccer Coach (2023-pres.), Mountain Rush Technical Director (2020-24), and various other coaching roles. Played professional soccer for Denver Dynamite, Colorado Edge, Golden Strikers and FC Denver. Cassie Ulrich completed her third season as an assistant coach and goalkeeper coach for the DU women's soccer team in 2025. Prior coaching experience includes being named West District Coach of the Year at Salt Lake Community College in 2021, coaching team to NJCAA national tournament semifinal appearance. Previously helped lead men's team to NJCAA national title and women's team to runner-up finish at NJCAA national tournament. Also served as Minnesota Aurora FC Goalkeepers Coach and La Roca Futbol Club Director of Goalkeeping. Playing experience includes goalkeeper at University of New Mexico (2011-15) where she was Two-time All-Mountain West Conference and three-year starter with 57 starts and 19 shutouts. Also played at University of Nottingham (England) and trained with Aston Villa Ladies. Holds Master's degree in management from Nottingham (2018) and Bachelor's degree in exercise science from New Mexico (2015).
